Paulo Cavaco started studying piano at the age of 11, later applying his knowledge to several other instruments. With over twenty-five years of studio experience as a producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, he has worked alongside many Portuguese and International artists including Paulo de Carvalho, Claud, J.J. Jackson, Hands on Approach, Jorge Fernando, G.N.R., Ana Free, Anamar, Mazgani, Donna Maria. He has worked as a composer for various artists as well as for TV series, soap operas, theatre and radio. He currently works as a Sound Designer in partnership with RTP, having gained widespread recognition for his award-winning work in the field of radio with his sound design on “Marco” and his original compositions on “Cidade Imaginada” and “Brincar é uma Cosa Muito Séria”, on which all the songs were composed using toys as instruments.
