New George

Jorge Agustí Álvarez, also known by his stage name of New George, is exceptionally creative as a songwriter, a music producer and a pioneering figure on the urban scene, both in Catalonia and across Spain. His work fuses traditional genres like sardana and bachata with contemporary urban sounds, as well as introducing elements of rock, pop and electronic music into his solo project, New George.

The project has enables him to scale the Catalan music charts and to be heard on major radio stations. Beyond his solo career, New George has been part of various advertising campaigns and is also part of The Flaming Shakers-considered the best Beatles tribute band in Europe. As part of this group he has toured Europe, France, England and South Africa.
