The documentary Canet Rock: Abans que surti el sol looks back over five decades of the history of Canet Rock, one of the most significant festivals in the Catalan music scene. Founded in 1975 as the first festival to emerge during the dictatorship and a pioneer in programming exclusively artists from the Catalan Countries, Canet Rock became, from its very beginnings, a cultural and political symbol.
