As the legendary Joan Manuel Serrat sang, “What else can I do? I was born on the Mediterranean.” The salt in the air, the ebb and flow of the waves, the breeze skimming softly across the sea, the fine sand … Although we may not realise it, the Mediterranean will always find a way to seep softly into our lives, making itself impossible to ever forget.

The soft melodies on this album flow from the Mediterranean shore, passing through a variety of different sounds. Nylon- or steel-string guitars, Sicilian Bouzoukis, lutes, double basses, flutes, small percussion and, obviously, a Flamenco cajon which, accompanied by some solid handclapping, will transport us to a dream world full of passion and inspiration.
