Marco Chiaperotti

Marco graduated in contemporary music composition from Barcelona’s Liceu Conservatory, and his work is influenced by African music, jazz and film scores. He was the winner of the Barcelona Sax Festival composition prize in 2014.
Marco writes music for the stage, short films and features, as well as for dance performances and video in general. He has worked with Felipe Cabeza, Berty Tobías, Gonzalo Lopez, Vicente Barella, Angel Jaume and Maria Suanzes among many others. He is the first official pianist at the Hotel Casa Fuster’s Café Vienés as well as being a regular soloist at the Auditori Barradas, where he plays his own compositions on the piano.
