José Xortó

Leader of the bands Stand Up Against Heart Crime and Critters, and regularly DJing any number of Barcelona club nights, Xortó has also worked with Zonka Aka Zonzo, creating the increasingly well-known Glove Party.

He is currently involved in developing his first project with songs in Spanish for the band “Jesús i Meritxell” (Marta P. Jansana on keyboards and vocals, Carlos Ródenas on bass and double bass, Josep Vilagut on drums and José Xortó on guitar and vocals). Meanwhile he is also working on another project with visual artist Carles Congost and the quintet “Tothom”, in which he personally produces melodies backed by motorik beats, space techno and sharp guitars.
