She graduated in Jazz Singing (higher degree) from the Liceu Conservatory, Barcelona.
She went on to release her first record “Blue Season” in 2011, a trio-based fusion of jazz and soul, which really showed her talent as a songwriter. She has played alongside many major musicians including Jordi Bonell, Jon Robles, Isaac Coll and Ale Romero, and her wide-ranging talents stretch from soul to totally 80s electro and pop, even exploring the darkness of trip-hop.
In 2016 her deep involvement in electro pop led to her first E.P., “Follow the Love”, and since then Inma Gomes has worked on a variety of musical projects, including writing a number of songs for numerous Spanish pop singers. She has worked with the French band Melokolektiv, as lyricist and vocalist, and in 2017 recorded for drummer Joao Vieira’s project Lab-Group.
Inma Gomes has currently just released her second E.P. “Alisos” in Spanish, consisting of five tracks which will carry you off to the darkest corners of the heart: to places that you sometimes find are closed and locked to you.
