EWO

EWO (Eyes Wide Open) is Helios Fontanals and David Palet, alias Muly, both well-known on the Barcelona club circuit for their DJing and performances at venues like the Jamboree, the Bikini, La Boite, Razzmatazz, Shoko, Otto Zutz and the Sala Apolo. Helios has been in bands like Macaco, Beat a Boom and 7 notas 7 colores, whole Muly has worked with musicians from the Spanish R’n’B and hip hop scene including Hombres Bala, Dlux and Eddine Said. EWO came about through the DJs’ need to get deeper into electronic sounds, keeping their eyes wide open for anything new that was happening but never losing sight of their connection to soul music in general.
