Aloise Felippe Morales De Melo aka Jabú Morales

Jabú moved to Barcelona in 2008 and soon became a leader on the popular Brazilian music scene. Her various Brazilian pop projects include Tambor de Saia and Mandacaru, and she has brought out two records as a solo musician and songwriter, Jabú and Malungo, which she also produced.

Jabú manages to combine her rhythmic musical heritage with all the influences she has amassed over the years she has been living away from Brazil. Her last project entitled ”Ayom” was born by the collaboration between the composer and Forró Miór, artists that share the same passion for Afro-Latin and Brazilian popular music.
