Ignasi Cama

Born in Barcelona, Ignasi showed real passion for music and the guitar from an early age. He began with the electric guitar playing contemprary music, but in his teens he changed over to Flamenco, in which he got a Vocational Training Diploma from ESMUC (the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya.)

Ignasi has over twenty years’ experience as a player, composer, producer, session musician and tutor, working at the city’s major Flamenco tablaos and backing musicians including El Salao, Joaquín el Duende, Alba Carmona, Nacho Blanco, Silvia Pérez Cruz and Elena Gadel. He has also played in other styles with groups like Los Manolos, Los Banis, Rumba Tres, Gertrudis, Muyayo Riff, Som Caliu, Malakaton, Rumberto and La Clika.
