Nicolas Martin

Originally from Rodez (Aveyron, France), he now lives in Andratx, a small village on the island of Mallorca (Spain) where he built his own recording studio. It is there, surrounded by a network of faithful musicians, that he creates his pieces, either Orchestral or Minimalist.

The evocative richness of his music draws creators from varying visual disciplines (Cinema, Animation) to use his compositions, which can be heard in many projects.

Among these creators: Jeremy CLAPIN, author of the film Shkizein, wich melancholic score for Strings and Electronics won the Leo of the best music at the festival of Braunschweig 2008 (Germany); Barry PURVES, one of the world masters in stop motion animation, for witch he composed an Symphonic Score for Orchestra and Choir for the film Plume; Elice MENG & Eleonora MARINONI, D’ombres et d’ailes; Bruno COLLET, Memorable; KIRA, Three Hugger; Daniel MONZÓN and Brigi de Daniel SANCHEZ ARÉVALO, Detox.

He participates on several Production music Albums and many of his tracks can be heard usually on Documentary and TV reportages : Gauguin, I’m a Savage -Du miel en Banlieue – Alain Delon, cet inconnu – Après la guerre, la guerre continue,…

He received the Production Music Awards 2017 and 2018 for the best online ad synchronization. He composes for advertising (Chopard, Ford, Disneyland Paris, Mövenpick, Campofrío, Central Lechera Asturiana,…), television (Top Chef, Rendez-vous en terre Inconnue, Geronimo Stilton, Cash Investigation, Face Off, 50′ Inside, Des racines et des ailes, Thalassa,…), devised theatre for the French theatre N et I Ni et Company since 2008. He also works as arranger-producer for other creators.
